Spice Hub Simpang Rusa is a creative and collaborative space for pepper farmers to discuss, exchange knowledge, and innovate. Located in an area with limited pepper potential, but still enthusiastic farmers to continue to maintain Belitung pepper, this place is also more than just a meeting center, but also an ecosystem that encourages sustainable agricultural practices. The agricultural approach implemented is a basic agricultural system (CSA), where the majority of farmers here are starting to realize the importance of environmentally friendly pepper cultivation. One innovation that has been implemented by farmers at Spice Hub Simpang Rusa is the use of live stakes as a support for pepper plants. This technique is not only environmentally friendly, but also increases biodiversity and soil fertility. By collaborating at Spice Hub, we are building a stronger, more sustainable, and more profitable future for pepper farming.
