Village Hub Ngarip is a center for learning and knowledge exchange between facilitators and pepper farmers across six surrounding villages. As a facilitator at Village Hub Ngarip, the Data Monitoring and Field Facilitator (FF) team play a vital role in supporting various activities such as group discussions, training sessions, meetings, and field practice with participating farmers. Their main focus is to help farmers understand pepper cultivation techniques, plant pest control (OPT), manure management, post-harvest handling, and the implementation of agroforestry systems.
What makes this region unique is the relatively small number of pepper farmers compared to other areas, yet they demonstrate strong enthusiasm for learning and a deep spirit of mutual cooperation. This is influenced by their past experiences in joining farmer field programs and receiving door-to-door consultations. With their quick understanding and high initiative in adopting new knowledge, farmers at Village Hub Ngarip show remarkable enthusiasm for cultivating high-value crops.
